Hyundai SeasAll’s history goes back to years before its official launch in August 2009.
Development engineers from Hyundai’s R&D center were driven to develop innovative marine engines and distribute them worldwide. Through years of exacting research, the engineers adapted Hyundai’s world-class automotive technology and proven power for use in marine vehicles.
With strong human resources and technical support coming from Hyundai’s Powertrain R&D department, the engineers continue to develop marine engines and test numerous onboard applications. Hyundai Sea SeasAll debuted at boatshows in 2008 and immediately proved its marketability. The intense development period laid a foundation for the quick growth we’ve seen to date, and for years of growth to come.
Our first proprietary marine diseal were launched after the company foundation date, Aug. 28,2009, and we are still constantly advancing marine engine technology. We are now working to expand our range of power in accordance with customers’ needs. Hyundai – Kia’s automobile diseal engines range from 1.1 to 1.2 liters, providing a significant reservoir of base engines for future development projects.
We are always commited to expanding our global network to serve the varied needs of customers worldwide. Considering our solid business foundation and already exponential growth, we fully expect to become one of the world’s leading marine engine manufactures in the near future.

Durability And Reliability
The use of Compacted Graphite Iron (CGI) for the cylinder block gives Hyundai SeasAll engines several advantages. The CGI block is lighter than conventional grey cast iron and demonstrates at least 85 percent higher tensile strength, 45 percent higher stiffness and approximately double the fatigue strength of iron and aluminum. It lasts longer than even we ever expected. The unique one-piece CGI (Compacted Graphite Iron) cylinder head makes the engine lighter and quieter than conventional heads for more comfort onboard.Plus, longevity is assured with close to double the fatigue life of aluminum.
